In animated gifs, multiple images are created then saved as a single animated gif file. Gif files can be placed anywhere on the web where a normally static photo might be placed. There is no need for a video viewer.
Bio
Gary Whitten has spent his entire professional career in visual marketing communications,
with over 25 years of progressive experience in all facets of Art Direction, Graphic Design,
Illustration, Product Photography/Photo Retouching and Production for Print Advertising.
Clients have included some of the most high profile companies in Phoenix & nationwide.
His specific experience includes: 10 yrs as an Art Director, 2 years in Engineering Publications
and 11 years as a freelance Technical Illustrator, Photo Retoucher & Graphic Designer.
Gary's experience with photography started in high school in Journalism class & Yearbook.
He set up his own photography darkroom while taking photography classes in college.
He has had a special focus on table-top product photography, photo retouch & digital image
enhancement throughout his career.
His latest skill set is creating Animated Web Banners and “QR Mobile Slideshows” basically a “30 second Elevator Sales Pitch” in the form of an animated slideshow sent to a customers smart phone direct by text massage or by them scanning a QR code. The Customer can then save the it on their phone, text it to someone else or email it to their computer to view or print 2X larger than phone views.
